Havering Summer family cycle skills courses 2015

This summer we are working with Cycle Training East to provide free family cycle skills courses:
Start to Ride
These one day courses are aimed at younger riders who are new to riding without stabilisers and would benefit from additional training on basic skills. This course takes place within the school playground.
Bikeability Level 1 and 2
These two day courses are for children aged 9 and over (school year 5+) and any parents who wish to accompany their children. The course teaches improved spacial awareness, coordination and road skills to those who can already manage the ‘basics’.
The first day of this course takes place within the school playground, and on the second day the course moves to quiet roads under adult supervision in order to practice in a real environment.
Please remember that everyone who attends will need to bring their bikes in a good, roadworthy condition. Cycle helmets must also be worn throughout the course.
Sessions run from 10am to 2:30pm each day, with a half-hour lunch break between midday and 12:30pm (lunch not supplied).
