Earlier this year we won promises from Local Councillors to make your streets safe and more inviting for cycling. In Havering, 13 out of 54 Councillors made this promise. We would like to see this number increase.

Havering Council has no party with overall control. There is 1 Labour councillor, 22 Conservative councillors, 7 Ukip Councillors and 24 Independents. Of the 54 elected councillors, 13 support Space for Cycling (24%). Of the supportive councillors; 1 is from Labour, 5 from the Conservatives and 6 Independents. 1 Ukip councillor supports Space for Cycling.
